WorldatWork® Total Rewards Asia Pacific says
THANK YOU for a successful debut!

The inaugural WorldatWork Total Rewards Asia Pacific 2007 conference, which took place from 31st Oct-2nd Nov in Singapore, was a tremendous success. We would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to all the speakers, delegates, sponsors and supporting organisations for your participation and support, for making this conference the premier knowledge platform for human resource strategies and best practices.

With over 200 industry professionals in attendance, including speakers, conference delegates and sponsors, from more than 15 countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand and USA, the event convened an international network of human resource directors, total rewards specialists and human capital consultants for an inspiring conference.

A line-up of internationally renowned speakers provided insights into a variety of compelling topics ranging from new strategies in human resource management to developing new reward methodologies, while business leaders and human resource professionals picked up valuable information on regional socio-economic trends, and how to utilise reward strategies to maximise their human capital in current and emerging markets.
An excellent turnout at the conference
The audience was highly engaged in interactive
Q & A and discussion sessions

Also present were two renowned keynote speakers - Dr Joseph Michelli, organisational psychologist and author of the bestseller The Starbucks Experience, and Alistair Mant, Chairman of UK based Socio-Technical Strategy Group. Borrowing from his book, The Starbucks Experience, Dr Michelli presented delegates with the core principles that would serve to attract talent, empower employees and retain a dynamic workforce. Alistair Mant closed the conference on a lively note with an entertaining talk on transforming the HR function into a "unique selling proposition" of a successful company.
Everybody in attendance also took the opportunity to enjoy themselves during the welcome reception and networking dinner held respectively on the 31st October and 1st November evenings. Networking opportunities abound as the delegates congregated to enjoy good food and drinks, catch up with peers and old friends while making valuable new contacts.
